At Spectacle, we want to provide the best care to our patients and assure them that quality is our focus. We try to set ourselves apart in our boutique-style optical not only by our style and unique brands but also by our technology and techniques that we have available. I know we’re still new and may be unfamiliar to some of you, so we wanted to take a chance to tell you all the ways our optical strives to go above and beyond for our patients.
We have brands that you can’t get anywhere else! If you’re looking for unique, trendy frames that you can’t find online or anywhere else, than you’ve come to the right place. We pride ourselves in offering an extensive selection of frames that will make your decision even harder. Sorry not sorry! From our funky colors and patterns of Woow to the classic cool look of Barton Perreira, we have frames for just about any style. We love the unique surgical titanium line that Ovvo Optics provides as well as the help a child see program that Modo is known for where every frame you buy, they donate a frame to a child in India. Of course we can’t forget State Optical Co’s 100% USA handmade craftsmanship and trend-setting acetate colors based on streets in Chicago. As you can see, you can’t go wrong with any choice, so even though it may be a difficult one, no choice is a bad one!
We have precise measurements! We utilize a fancy device in conjunction with an iPad to take extremely precise measurements. This ensures that your lenses are created exactly the way your face and eyes will see best. Not everyone has equally spaced eyes or a perfectly symmetrical face, so instead of trying to adjust our face to fit the lenses, we adjust your lenses to fit your face perfectly!
We have an in-office edger! To those who don’t know, this means that if we have your prescription in stock, we can actually make your glasses same day if you’re in a pinch. Some prescriptions or insurances may require us to order your lenses. However, because they do not need to be cut to size by the lab, we typically receive your lenses sooner than most other opticals. If you’re someone who is replacing just their lenses in their current frame, this also means that you don’t have to be without your glasses for weeks on end… just about 15 minutes or so!
We have no paper! At Spectacle, we like to utilize technology as much as possible to help things run with ease. That doesn’t stop at your checkout. We utilize an iPad to calculate your grand total, make your payments, and email you a receipt. Of course, if you’d like an itemized printed receipt for your records though, we can do that for you too!
