THE DO'S AND DON'TS OF CONTACT LENSES

If you’re new to contacts or a seasoned pro, it’s always helpful to know the best way to care for your eyes and your contact lenses to avoid any infections or issues. With contact lenses, it is important to make sure that you are inspecting, caring for your lenses, and using them properly to ensure your vision and health of your eyes stays in good shape. We’ve outlined below some tips that we think are helpful to know and keep in mind for contact lens wearers.

Sometimes things just happen. You may be doing everything correctly or sticking to the do’s and don’ts that we’ve listed above, but you still woke up with a red, sticky eye. In those cases, we want you to come in to our office so our doctors can take a look and help you out for your specific case. Remember, contact lenses are amazing medical devices to help you see, but they are just that… medical devices. We have to yearly check your contacts to be sure they are the best for you to continue to have clear vision and comfortable, healthy eyes for the following year!
